LETTER TO EDITOR

Tiba-tiba hari ini ingin menulis Letter to Editor terkait sebuah artikel yang perlu diklarifikasi, tapi tiba-tiba isi pikiran mengarahkan tangan untuk menulis begini:

LETTER TO EDITOR

Dear Editor

You know I have left my wife and my son during 4 years, sometimes my wife accidentally found my son crying in his room and said I miss my father.

You know I have reviewed, read and download even sometimes I must buy articles outside of my campus just for writing one sentence in my manuscript. I also got repetitive strain injury since handle mouse 16 hours a day, just to make 4-6 page manuscript.

After that I take data for one year, giving a brief explanation to my participants even sometimes got rejection from their family or got problems related to devices. Going back to home, fill in the data into a spreadsheet which always getting slow down due to overload of data, however I am still fighting until the end of the study.

I don’t know who you are; reciprocally of course you don’t know who I am. But you are a very powerful, my academic life in your grasping hand, everything become nothing when you reject my manuscript. 

So please, do not just read about the novelty of this study, but looking backward into history of this study. Please do not just read about implication into knowledge, but also reconsider implication into my life.

I know you are very busy, you must read many articles even though you didn’t get any payment from the publisher. I Know you are also disappointed with this system so don’t reflect it by reject my manuscript.

Setelah baca ini kira-kira editornya bilang apa ya...

By the way, dunia riset dan publikasi memang tidak adil, author sulit akses full text jurnal, editor dipekerjakan tanpa fee, semuanya untuk kepentingan  publishers...
